English Teacher – SEMH School Bury
We're currently looking for an english teacher for an SEMH school in Bury, it has very small class sizes, meaning your lessons can have a real impact. The school offers a broad and balanced curriculum that supports academic progress alongside emotional development, supported by teaching assistants and multidisciplinary staff.
Role & Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to individual learning needs
* Promote literacy skills across reading, writing, speaking and listening
* Adapt teaching strategies to support students with SEMH and associated SEND
* Track and assess student progress, providing feedback and interventions where needed
* Collaborate with support staff to personalise learning activities
* Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
