To promote continuity of care and maintain a positive, collaborative working relationship with the whole primary care team.
About us
Stirchley Medical Practice is based in South East Telford and serves a population of approximately 25,000. We work over 2 sites, in small teams, with the aim of providing personalised care for our patients. Our large primary care team includes ANPs, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, social prescribers, a first contact physiotherapist, and UCPs. We value teamwork and are a supportive practice, encouraging staff participation in regular breaks and social events. We are a training practice, hosting medical students from Keele University, as well as student nurses and nursing associates. We offer 15-minute appointments for routine care, along with an internal buddy system for support, which newly qualified GPs find useful. We are an active member of the South East Telford Primary Care Network. Working in an area with high deprivation presents challenges but also offers a rewarding career as a GP.
