Grazing – Operations Manager
Location: Bermondsey, London
Salary: £65,000 + benefits
This is not an average role. The Operations Manager will own the brief, lead and drive the catering services across multiple client sites and events, ensuring every experience is slick, seamless and memorable.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate multiple sites and events to ensure smooth operation
- Ensure every plate and interaction exceeds client expectations
- Lead, coach and inspire chefs, kitchen teams and front‑of‑house talent
- Set clear goals, provide constructive feedback and motivate high performance
- Take responsibility for budgets and financial performance to drive profitability
- Control food and labour costs while identifying efficiencies
- Maintain training, safety and financial records to meet compliance and audit requirements
Person Specification
- 3–5 years of experience in operations or senior management within contract catering
- Strong leadership, a passion for food, and the ability to inspire trust and growth
- Highly organised with excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
- Calm under pressure, proactive and solutions‑focused
- Commercially astute with a creative flair and strategic mindset
