The purpose of this role is to effectively design and estimate kitchens to our contracts sector. The ideal candidate will be driven, enthusiastic and have high levels of organisational ability. This is a permanent, office-based position. Main Responsibilities:
7. Estimate project costs from plans and BOQs
8. Produce estimates to meet design and customer needs
9. Attend design reviews with clients and sales
10. Submit Design Approval packs for sales
11. Ensure designs meet requirements and deadlines, and are compliant with regulations and standards
12. Provide technical support to team members
13. Manage design changes and cost adjustments
14. Process sales team POs
15. Support new and ongoing projects, revisions, and inquiries
16. Coordinate with sales, production, project control, site managers, and clients
17. Maintain current drawings and pricing for quotes and project control
In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.
About You
Skills:
18. Be creative and technical
19. Fantastic communication skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and planner/CAD software
20. Proficient in reading architectural and kitchen drawings
21. Detail-oriented, budget-conscious, and knowledgeable in kitchen planning, installation, and regulations
22. Experience in high-volume plan creation
23. Estimating or prior design experience
