Head of Complex Trauma Children’s Homes – Midlands Region Midlands-Based | Up to £85,000 (Negotiable DOE)

Are you a passionate and experienced senior leader already in a multi-site/ regional role in children’s residential care with a track record of delivering outstanding, trauma-informed services?
I’m currently working with a dedicated children provider seeking a dynamic Head of Complex Trauma Children’s Homes to lead the strategic growth of a brand-new region across the Midlands. You will be responsible for the development and operational delivery of 7–10 therapeutic children’s homes, each tailored to support young people with complex trauma backgrounds.
Lead the opening and development of multiple children’s homes across the Midlands.
Ensure all services meet and exceed Ofsted standards, with a trauma-informed, therapeutic ethos at the core.
Contribute to strategic planning and long-term growth of the region.
Build strong partnerships with local authorities, safeguarding boards, and other stakeholders.
Oversee budgets and ensure high-quality, efficient service delivery.
Proven senior leadership in an multi-site capacity ( 5 or more homes ) experience within children’s residential care (preferably complex trauma-focused).
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and Ofsted frameworks.
Excellent communication, people, and operational management skills.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People) or equivalent.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
