Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire and Security Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and servicing of a wide range of fire and security systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, commission, and maintain fire alarm and detection systems.
* Service and inspect portable fire‑fighting equipment.
* Work on mechanical fire suppression systems and perform room integrity testing.
* Install and maintain intruder alarm systems, access control systems, and CCTV systems.
* Configure and maintain automated gates and barrier systems.
* Set up and manage remote monitoring solutions for security systems.
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
* Ensure compliance with relevant British Standards and health & safety regulations.
* Provide excellent customer service and technical support.
Requirements
* Proven experience in fire and security engineering.
* Knowledge of fire safety regulations and security system standards.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Full UK driving license.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., FIA training, BAFE Certified, NSI training) are mandatory.
* Valid Enhanced DBS.
