We are currently partnering with a well-respected secondary school in Surrey to identify an exceptional Drama Teacher to join their faculty. Position Summary
As a Drama Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering students' passion for the performing arts. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive drama instruction across Key Stages 3 and 4, empowering students to develop their confidence, communication skills, and artistic expression.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver inspiring drama lessons that align with the national curriculum and school's educational philosophy.
* Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore their creativity and take risks.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic development.
* Direct and produce school productions, showcasing students' talents and fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
* Collaborate with colleagues within the Arts department and across the wider school community to enhance the performing arts program.
Qualifications and Experience
* A Bachelor's degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
* Demonstrated experience teaching Drama at the secondary level.
* A passion for the performing arts and a commitment to inspiring students to reach their full potential.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
