Location: Yeovil - central site with excellent facilities
Pay: £14.75 per hour + paid overtime
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Any 5 out of 7 days
⏰ Shifts: 6:00am-2:00pm or 11:00am-7:00pm
Weekends: 1 in 3 weekends (moving to 1 in 5 when fully staffed)
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, cook, and present food to agreed standards
Assist with stock control, ordering, and budget management
Maintain up-to-date product and menu knowledge
Ensure portion control and consistent food quality
Comply with all health & safety and food safety regulations
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience as a Chef in a professional kitchen
NVQ or City & Guilds Chef qualifications
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to stay calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
