Why N-able

At N-able, we’re not just helping businesses be secure —we’re redefining what it means to be cyber resilient. Our end-to-end platform blends AI-powered capabilities and flexible tech stacks, so customers can manage, secure, and recover with confidence. But the real power behind it all? Our people. We’re a global crew of N-ablites, who love solving complex problems, sharing knowledge, and delivering solutions that actually make a difference. If you're into meaningful work, fast growth, and a team that’s got your back, you’ll be surrounded by people who believe in what they do—and in you.

This is a dual-core role combining two equally important skill sets: building and optimising in-app experiences using Pendo, and analysing data to drive continuous improvement. We’re looking for someone who is as comfortable interpreting usage metrics and building dashboards as they are configuring in-app guides and QA’ing messages.

While the role uses HTML and CSS, this is not a product UI engineering role — development work is focused on styling, configuring, quality-assuring, and enhancing in-app messages and guides.

What You'll Do

In-App Experience

1. Build, configure, and maintain in-app guides and messages (onboarding, feature education, tooltips, banners, surveys) using Pendo.
2. Use HTML and CSS to customise the look, feel, and behaviour of in-app experiences.
3. QA and validate in-app messages and guides to ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality before release.
4. Iterate on in-app experiences based on data, experimentation, and customer feedback.
5. Collaborate with Product, UX, Analytics, and Engineering teams to align in-app experiences with product goals.

Data & Analytics

6. Analyse data and usage metrics to measure the effectiveness of in-app experiences and identify opportunities for improvement.
7. Create dashboards and reports to track engagement, feature adoption, and outcomes of in-app messages and guides.
8. Translate data insights into concrete recommendations and improvements across the in-app experience.
9. Partner with the Product and Analytics teams to define and track KPIs for in-app engagement and adoption.

What You'll Bring

Track 1 — In-App Experience & Development

10. Experience building in-app guides, messages, or digital adoption experiences, ideally using Pendo or a similar platform.
11. Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS; ability to customise, style, and QA in-app messages to a high standard.
12. Strong understanding of user workflows, user journeys, and customer-centric design.
13. Experience working in a Product-Led Growth (PLG) environment where in-product experiences support onboarding, adoption, cross-sell, and engagement.

Track 2 — Data Analysis & Reporting

14. Strong analytics mindset — comfortable working with data, interpreting metrics, and translating insights into concrete actions.
15. Hands-on experience using analytics and reporting tools to evaluate product or in-app experience effectiveness.
16. Proven ability to build dashboards and reports that track engagement, adoption, and product KPIs.
17. Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Product, UX, Analytics, and Engineering teams.
18. Familiarity with Agile ways of working; understanding of Scrum practices is beneficial as the team continues to evolve its delivery model.

Nice to have:

19. Experience with AI tools or AI-assisted development ( using AI to analyse data, generate content, or enhance in-app experiences).
20. Familiarity with SaaS product metrics such as engagement, feature adoption, or retention.
21. Experience working in SaaS or B2B product organisations.
22. Experience working with distributed or global teams.
23. Light JavaScript knowledge for customising or enhancing in-app experiences.

24. Medical, dental and vision coverage
25. Generous PTO and observed holidays
26. 2 Paid VoluNteer Days per year
27. Employee Stock Purchase Program
