A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MULTI-SITE HEAD HOUSEKEEPER
As an experienced hospitality professional with an eye for detail and a passion for maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience.
What you'll be doing...
Reporting to the Deputy General Manager, your daily responsibilities will include:
1. Leadership and Supervision: Leading and motivating the housekeeping team, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Conducting regular training sessions to enhance skills and maintain high standards. Scheduling and coordinating daily tasks for efficiency.
2. Quality Control: Regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and compliance with standards. Implementing corrective actions and providing feedback for continuous improvement.
3. Inventory Management: Monitoring and managing supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock. Collaborating with procurement to source high-quality cleaning materials and amenities.
4. Guest Satisfaction: Addressing guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally. Coordinating with other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
5. Budget Oversight: Assisting in developing and managing the housekeeping budget. Implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
6. Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of room status, maintenance issues, and activities. Generating reports for management, highlighting KPIs and improvement areas.
Additionally, you will be involved in training and coaching team members.

To succeed as a Multi-site Head Housekeeper, you should possess:
* Proven supervisory or managerial experience within a hotel housekeeping department with over 100 rooms.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Knowledge of industry-specific cleaning standards and practices.
* Proficiency in relevant scheduling and reporting software.
