Sales Coordinator
Job type: Permanent. Location: Rugby – fully office based. Working hours Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with a ½ hour paid break. Salary: circa £29,000 pa. Applicants must have their own transport due to the office location.
Our client is an established family‑owned business based in Rugby, looking for a proactive and experienced Sales Coordinator to join their growing, busy team. The successful candidate will have experience in telephone‑based sales and internal account management, and will act both reactively and proactively within the team.
Key responsibilities
* Receipt and organisation of customer orders
* Communicating and liaising with company-wide stakeholders across the entire order process
* Proactively contacting and liaising with new and existing customers to ascertain requirements and monitor for new business
* Being the first point of contact for inbound enquiries and internal account management
* Coordinating order and group administration to ensure everything is kept up to date
Minimum requirements
* A proactive salesperson with proven experience
* Internal account management experience
* Strong communication skills, both spoken and written, with internal and external stakeholders
* Good IT skills, able to pick up new systems with ease
* Results‑driven – can be counted on to exceed goals
* Strong attention to detail
