We're recruiting experienced MIG welders to join a well‑established defence manufacturer in Stockport. This is high‑spec work on either armoured steel or aluminium components used in military vehicle platforms, with long-term stability and secured programmes running years ahead.
What you'll be doing
MIG welding on armoured steel or aluminium
Working to military standards, tight tolerances, and strict quality requirements
Producing components for next‑generation armoured vehicle systems
What you need
NVQ Level 3 in welding (or equivalent)
Proven MIG welding experience on relevant materials
Flexibility to support occasional night shifts when required (enhanced rate applies)

Overtime at x1.33, x1.5, and x2
Days-based role with an early finish on Fridays
