Intervention Tutor – Teesside

Are you passionate about making a difference in pupils’ lives and helping them reach their full potential? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a committed and motivated Intervention Tutor to support students in schools across Teesside from September 2025.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, experienced tutors, or qualified teachers looking for a rewarding role focusing on small-group and one-to-one support.

What you’ll do:
* Deliver targeted intervention sessions in English, Maths, or other core subjects
* Support pupils who are working below age-related expectations or need additional academic help
* Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, both in and out of the classroom
* Monitor and report on student progress to school staff and Teaching Personnel
* Build positive relationships that boost students’ confidence and engagement
Who we’re looking for:
* A degree or teaching qualification (QTS not essential but desirable)
* Experience working with young people in an educational setting
* Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, or another curriculum area
* Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
* A proactive approach to supporting learning and removing barriers to achievement
