About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly catering team, located in Ashford. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the health and wellbeing of our students by helping to prepare and serve nutritious meals in a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with the preparation and serving of meals to pupils and staff
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas
* Wash up and clean kitchen equipment and utensils
* Support the cook with stock rotation and deliveries
* Follow food safety and health & safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment (preferred but not essential)
* A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable)
Working Hours:
