Room Manager Ideal Profile:
* Previous experience in luxury or 5-Star Hotel environments
* Possesses excellent knowledge of food and wine, leadership experience, and proficiency in point of sale (POS) systems
* Demonstrates a genuine passion for hospitality, embodying the company values of passion, personality, respect, working together, and creativity
* Exhibits strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage, lead, and motivate a team effectively
* Customer-focused mindset with a keen understanding of guest expectations and preferences
* Proven track record in sales and marketing activities, contributing to business growth and profitability
* Proficient in managing day-to-day operations, including budget management, payroll, and expense control
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively liaising with guests, colleagues, and suppliers
* Maintains an immaculate appearance and ensures all team members display excellence in personal grooming and hygiene
Room Manager Responsibilities:
* Lead, motivate, and develop the team to enhance performance, achieve business goals, and maintain high service standards.
* Manage departmental budget, payroll, and expenses while ensuring compliance with legislative and hotel guidelines
* Act as an ambassador of the Hotel, fostering positive relationships with guests, colleagues, and suppliers
* Ensure consistently outstanding service by developing and implementing appropriate service and performance standards
* Review and update menus to reflect the hotel's status, industry trends, and guest needs. Manage and maintain the condition of furniture, fixtures, and equipment to meet and exceed guest expectations
* Plan, implement, and monitor sales promotions and marketing activities to drive business growth and profit
* Proactively monitor and respond to guest comments and feedback, driving innovation and continuous improvement of service and operational standards
