About the Role
As a Mechanical, Electrical & Trim (MET) Technician at our Peterborough site, you’ll play a key role in the safe, efficient, and accurate repair of vehicles. From diagnostics to strip and refit, your expertise will help return vehicles to their pre-accident condition on time and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
 14. Carry out all MET-related tasks including diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and component removal/refit
 15. Follow manufacturer methods and repair procedures to ensure safety and accuracy
 16. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and inform repair plans
 17. Work closely with Bodyshop and Paint departments to maintain workflow efficiency
 18. Maintain high standards of repair quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction
 19. Keep your workspace clean, safe, and in line with HSE requirements
What We’re Looking For
 20. Proven experience as an MET Technician—preferably within a bodyshop or accident repair environment
 21. Strong understanding of vehicle systems, electronics, and mechanical repairs
 22. ATA accreditation preferred, or willingness to achieve it with our support
 23. High attention to detail, with a focus on delivering top-quality work
 24. Effective time management and teamwork skills
 25. Full UK driving licence
