Initially the successful candidate will carry a personal sales target while introducing greater structure, focus and leadership to the sales function. As the team develops, the role will evolve into a strategic leadership and growth position.

Operating from an 11,500 sq. ft. facility in Norwich, Cladspray specialises in the refurbishment and protection of industrial roofs, cladding systems, factory floors and commercial buildings. Our aim is to lead the market in customer service and quality of finish while maintaining the highest health and safety standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and deliver the company’s growth strategy and identify priority markets.
* Own the annual sales budget, targets and forecasting discipline.
* Lead and develop the sales team, setting clear objectives and supporting performance.
* Drive new business across existing and emerging markets.
* Build strong relationships with key decision-makers including surveyors, asset managers and contractors.
* Introduce CRM discipline and commercial reporting.
* Improve pipeline quality, conversion rates and average order value.
* Ensure sales activity aligns with operational delivery capacity.
* Identify new sectors, partnerships and routes to market.
* Represent the business externally and strengthen market presence.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
The successful candidate will be:
* An experienced commercial leader with a proven record of driving revenue growth in a B2B environment.
* Comfortable shaping strategy while remaining close to day-to-day commercial activity, bringing structure, discipline and direction to the sales function.
* Experienced in building and leading sales teams, improving pipeline visibility and forecasting discipline, and identifying new market opportunities.
* Confident working with senior leadership and translating strategy into practical action that delivers measurable growth.Experienced within industrial coatings, construction, building refurbishment or industrial services (advantageous).
SUCCESS IN THE ROLE
Within 12 months the Head of Commercial Growth will have strengthened the company’s commercial structure while delivering sustainable revenue growth.
They will have introduced a clear sector-led growth strategy, improved pipeline visibility and forecasting reliability, and developed a structured outbound approach to new business.
