Project Engineer
Location: Warrington
Term: Permanent
Salary: GBP 35,000 - GBP 40,000 (depending on experience)
My client is a manufacturer in the Industrial and Manufacturing sector and is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join their team in Warrington on a permanent basis.
This is a hands‑on Project Engineer role supporting the Director on complex, industrial projects – ideal for someone with 3+ years of experience who enjoys ownership, structure, and working in a manufacturing‑led environment.
Required Attributes
* HND or Degree qualified in Engineering, Project Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
* 3 or more years of experience in Project Engineering from a similar role or environment
* Experience working in a highly regulated industry
* Proficient with MS Office
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Flexible to travel as part of the role as required
* Engaged, enthusiastic and proactive with a systematic approach to work
* Capable of working well alone as well as in a team
Role Responsibilities
* Take designs and implement them
* Conduct technical assessment, analysis, and review of full lifecycle projects
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Manage budgets, timelines, and documentation
* Schedule, control cost and quality
* Line manage direct reports
* Communicate with customers to ensure specifications are met
* Support the Director
* Involved in purchasing for projects and chasing suppliers as required
* Prepare required project documentation and drawings
