At Cambian Group, you’re not just working - you’re shaping futures. As a Support Worker, based within West Midlands, every moment you spend with our young people (ages 8–18) helps them feel safe, valued, and supported.
A simple "How was your day?", a shared laugh over a board game, or encouragement during a tough moment - these small interactions build trust and shape lives. Some days will be challenging, but every breakthrough, smile, and step forward will remind you why this work truly matters.
What You’ll Do
* Support young people with their daily routines: getting them ready for school, preparing meals, and planning activities.
* Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping.
* Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support.
* Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, movie nights, or creative projects.
* Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.
Where You’ll Do It
The home is a 3-bedroom, semi-rural detached bungalow surrounded by fields, with ample space for activities. It features an annex with a pool table, darts, and a large space for games. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms.
We currently support 3 boys aged between 11 and 16. Every day is different, filled with activities, laughter, and fun. Each young person’s journey is unique, and working in the home offers rewarding experiences daily.
The team goes above and beyond, providing new experiences and consistency. The team works in groups of 3, with 2 staff sleeping overnight at the home.
