Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Cwm Taf Morgannwg Paediatric Psychology Services. The role is part time (15 hrs per week). The Administrative Assistant will provide effective administrative support to assist the efficient running of the Paediatric Psychology service. In addition to administrative tasks, the post holder will collect and input statistical information on service activity in line with local and national requirements. The post holder will portray a positive image and liaise in a professional manner with clients, colleagues and visitors to the Service. The post holder should plan and prioritise their own workload and escalate issues to the Clinical Lead as needed. The post holder will handle confidential and sometimes sensitive information and must observe confidentiality rules and policies. The post holder is expected to work flexibly to support the service.
Responsibilities
* Provide efficient administrative support to the Paediatric Psychology Service.
* Collect and input statistical information on service activity in line with local and national requirements.
* Plan and prioritise own workload; escalate issues to the Clinical Lead when necessary.
* Maintain professionalism when liaising with clients, colleagues and visitors.
* Ensure confidentiality of information in line with policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Experience in administrative support and data collection is desirable.
* Ability to handle confidential information and adhere to confidentiality rules.
* Flexible approach to work to support the service.
* Welsh Skills Desirable: Speaking & Listening at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above; not essential but advantageous.
