ABOUT THE ROLE
Senior Care Assistant - Nights at Avon Valley Care Home in Bristol. You will support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, caring, innovative and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Monitor the wellbeing of each resident, noting any changes affecting care and care plans, ensuring new needs are met and written records are updated.
* Participate in the person‑centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring and conducting monthly evaluations.
* Support residents with their medication requirements.
* Conduct staff supervisions and support staff development where required.
* Act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives and visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring reasonable requests are acted upon and concerns or complaints are escalated.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
* At least 2 years of experience working in a similar care environment.
* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
* Positive attitude toward supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
* Responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
REMINDER: THIS ROLE WILL REQUIRE
* A DBS Disclosure check (cost paid by Avery Healthcare).
* Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
