Role Overview
Were seeking a confident and personable
Internal Sales Account Manager to manage and service existing customer accounts while developing new business opportunities. The role is primarily focused on
account management (80%), ensuring our customers receive outstanding service and support, while also contributing to
new business activity (20% ). This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who wants variety in a role within a team that is growing, whether you have sales experience or are looking to take your first step into a commercial role with training and career progression on offer.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the first point of contact for existing customers, managing quotes, processing orders, and resolving queries
Build strong client relationships through regular communication and proactive account management
Maintain accurate customer records using CRM systems
Support Area Sales Managers with appointments and sales activity
Liaise with suppliers and technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through call and online research (approx. 20% of role)
Provide occasional support to warehouse operations as needed
Experience & Skills
Strong communication skills with a professional and personable manner
Organised, proactive, and customer-focused
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Technically minded with good problem-solving ability
GCSEs in English, Maths, and ideally a technical subject
Previous B2B sales experience is an advantage but not essential
