About the Role
We are looking for a Welder/Fabricator to join our growing team. This hands-on role is suited for someone experienced in TIG, MIG, and MMA welding techniques and confident working with a variety of metals including mild steel and stainless steel (aluminium experience is a bonus).
You'll be involved in both in-house fabrication and on-site installations across a wide range of industries. The right candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
· Carry out TIG, MIG, and MMA welding on various metals to a high standard
· Work confidently from technical drawings and develop fabrication solutions based on site visits
· Produce and complete any necessary job documentation and fabrication sketches
· Inspect all components to ensure quality and accuracy of work
· Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment
· Follow all company health & safety policies, wear the correct PPE, and adhere to risk assessments
· Collaborate effectively with the wider team while maintaining the ability to work independently when required
Essential Skills & Experience
* Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Welding or equivalent
* At least 3 years' experience in welding and fabrication
* Competency with a range of hand and power tools
* Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings
* Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence
What We Offer
* Overtime Opportunities (Evenings & Weekend) at Overtime Rates:
* Weekdays and Saturdays at 1.5x hourly rate

Working Hours
* Standard 40-hour week (08:00-16:00)
* Overtime regularly available and expected depending on workload
* Working hours and start times may vary depending on project requirements
* Flexibility required due to the reactive nature of our services
* Occasional night work, weekend work, and overnight stays are expected

Must be able to reliably commute to Tredegar
