What will be your responsibilities
* Lead and manage end-to-end procurement processes, including strategic sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier performance evaluation;
* Develop, negotiate, and oversee strategic supply agreements to ensure long-term value and alignment with business goals;
* Conduct in-depth market research to identify, evaluate, and onboard high-performing suppliers aligned with quality, cost, and service objectives;
* Analyse procurement needs across departments, prioritize requisitions, and ensure timely execution of purchasing strategies;
* Drive supplier optimization initiatives, focusing on cost reduction, continuous quality improvement, and enhanced service levels;
* Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, commercial, finance, and operations teams to align procurement efforts with organizational objectives and project timelines.
Profile and requirements
* MCIPS or equivalent preferable;
* 4–6 years of progressive experience in Procurement / Supply - preferably from a Defence background;
* Strong strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, and decision-making skills;
* Proven ability to manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and lead procurement initiatives independently;
* Results-driven mindset with a strong focus on value creation and process efficiency;
* Language Requirements: Advanced proficiency in English, with proven fluency at the C2 level;
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive and collaborative attitude;
* Solid understanding of commercial and financial procedures related to procurement (preferred);
* Knowledge in Microsoft BC.
