We are supporting a newly established manufacturer within the industrialised construction sector, specialising in Light Gauge Steel production using roll forming technology.
This is a rare opportunity to join a business at the very start of its journey and play a central role in shaping its production operation.
Initially, the role is hands-on, operating machinery and supporting day-to-day manufacturing activity. As the business grows, you will build and lead the production team, embed systems and standards, and progress into a senior Production / Operations role, working closely with the Managing Director as their operational right-hand.
The Role Will Involve:
* Hands-on operation of production machinery
* Leading production output, quality and Health & Safety standards
* Developing and supervising production and assembly operatives
* Driving continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing practices
* Supporting equipment reliability and efficiency
* Building the production team as the business scales
About You:
* Proven experience in production supervision or senior team leadership
* Experience with roll forming machines
* A strong, visible leader with a practical, hands-on approach
* Excellent organisation, communication and problem-solving skills
* High standards for quality, safety and delivery
* FLT Combi licence
* GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C / 4 or above)
