Job Title: Accounts Assistant
My client is a fast-growing sustainability business based in the Swinton Area. Due to business growth, there is a new requirement for an Accounts Assistant.
Reporting to the Finance and Payroll Manager, this is an all-round role that offers the right candidate the opportunity to develop their skills and make a significant impact on the business by assisting with accounting procedures as the company expands.
Key Duties:
1. Handle daily financial responsibilities, including purchase and sales ledger, credit control, bank reconciliations, and monthly accruals and prepayments for the new entity.
2. Manage and reconcile debtors, creditors, and control accounts.
3. Administer supplier payment runs.
4. Prepare quarterly VAT returns for the UK and Europe.
5. Assist in the preparation of management accounts across the group.
6. Analyze internal reports and data.
7. Support monthly payroll processes.
8. Assist with the annual audit for the group.
9. Provide cover and support for group purchase and sales ledger functions as required.
