Duties as a Nursery Teaching Assistant: Support the class teacher in delivering engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Help to create a warm, inclusive and stimulating environment for all children Support individual children and small groups with learning and development Assist with personal care routines when needed (e.g. toileting, changing) Promote positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Help monitor children’s progress and contribute to observations and assessments Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant: Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or above preferred) Has experience working in a nursery, pre-school or EYFS classroom setting Has a caring, patient and positive approach as a Nursery Teaching Assistant.
