Are you an inspirational leader?
Due to our current head moving on, we are looking for our next inspirational leader.
Give us your commitment and we’ll give you our world.
At Caldicot School we believe education is about more than exam results, it’s about nurturing confident, compassionate young people ready to make a difference in the world.
As an inspirational leader, you will champion our values and lead our school family into an exciting new chapter.
You will have the ability to build on the strong foundations and exploit the potential of the school with a vision based on our core values of respect, responsibility, tolerance and honesty.
As an inspirational leader, you will:
- provide strategic leadership and develop a long-term vision for the school to ensure that each student has every opportunity to develop their full potential whilst continuing to enhance the sense of belonging with our new House system and ensure the inclusion of all students, including those in the Special Resource Base for additional learning needs.
- work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, governors and the Local Authority to foster a positive environment for all members of the school community.
- have a comprehensive understanding of pedagogy and its importance in the design and delivery of the Curriculum for Wales.
- continue to implement the Post Inspection Action Plan following the last Estyn report, focusing on safeguarding, strategic leadership, management of ALN, pupils’ skills and improved attendance.
In return, we can offer you:
- an excellent opportunity to shape the future of a secondary school with immense potential.
- a strong leadership team and dedicated staff who are committed to the welfare of all students.
- enthusiastic students who increasingly engage in all aspects of school life.
