Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
* Assist in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards
* Support meal preparation activities, ensuring timely service during busy periods
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils and equipment
* Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene standards are consistently met
* Assist in serving food to customers or staff as required
* Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
* Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient and high-quality service
* Contribute to the organisation of catering events and special functions as needed
Skills
* Experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is advantageous
* Strong knowledge of food preparation and culinary techniques
* Familiarity with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
* Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
* Previous experience in meal preparation, food service, or general kitchen duties is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for motivated individuals
