Summary of Role
Ensure high standards are achieved in the supply chain through continual improvement and impact demonstration. This analytical role requires organization, efficiency, and accurate reporting. The key responsibility is to help FatFace meet our responsible sourcing goals, including an understanding of raw material standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Building raw material trackers
* Responsible Sourcing reporting (monthly KPI reports, tracker reports, Board, audits, buy information)
* Collate and supply data for B Corp
* Manage critical path, understanding the buying calendar
* Understand raw material standards
* Work closely with suppliers and train buying teams to maintain raw material KPIs, coordinate certifications, and prepare data for audits
* Review social and environmental information from suppliers (certificates, policies, impact data)
* Understand and onboard ethical trade processes
* Deliver material targets through training, validation, and monitoring systems
* Engage product teams on sustainable materials and processes, supporting marketing and communication
* Contribute to corporate sustainability reporting and website updates
* Align with the company's social and environmental mission, proactively impacting actions
Skills & Background
* Strong analytical skills with intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
* Project management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
* Experience with systems like Board, D365
* Raw material/textile experience is advantageous
* Interest in environmental issues
* Awareness of legislation and emerging risks
* Ability to document and communicate processes effectively
* Experience in textiles, supply chain, and operations, especially standards, certifications, audits, and corrective actions
* Passion for responsible products and sustainability
