Procurement Consultant - Renewable Energy Capital Programmes & Projects

Job Description
Reporting to an established Renewable Energy Procurement lead, you will help clients deliver major capital programmes and projects for green technologies, providing more sustainable energy sources for customers and the community. You will join our expanding Procurement team across UK offices, responding to increasing demand for our services.
Main Expectations
* Provide procurement support across multiple programmes, projects and commissions, helping clients progress toward better green, sustainable outcomes across renewable energy asset types.
* Deliver and continually improve clients’ performance and meet targets across key capital procurement themes.
* Support the development of renewable energy procurement services provided by T&T.
* Support business development for renewable energy procurement and marketing requirements of wider Contract Services capability.
* Support delivery of both team and wider business targets in T&T.
Skills
* Major capital programmes and projects procurement strategy and implementation.
* Contract management.
* Supply chain intelligence.
* Supplier evaluation strategies.
* Supply chain management.
* Contract terms, negotiation and award.
Experience in hydro‑electric, onshore and offshore wind, tidal, energy from waste, hydrogen, solar, carbon capture, net zero, biofuels or geothermal is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications
* Degree related to Procurement, Supply Chain, Sustainability, Business Management or similar disciplines (preferably).
* Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply (or working toward).
* Security Clearance (SC) – currently valid or could be reinstated (not essential).
