Maths Teacher – Newcastle
Pay: £163–£263 per day (PAYE, no umbrella companies)
Location: Newcastle and surrounding areas
Contract: Full-time / Long-term / Immediate start

We’re working with several forward-thinking secondary schools across Newcastle who are looking for a dedicated Maths Teacher to join their teams. You’ll be delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that build confidence, spark curiosity, and help students see how maths connects to the real world.

What you’ll be doing
* Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available)
* Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons
* Supporting students to achieve target grades and develop problem-solving skills
* Building positive relationships with learners and colleagues
* Contributing to a supportive, collaborative maths department
What you’ll need
* QTS or QTLS status (or working towards it)
* Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching maths
* Good classroom management and communication skills
* A passion for helping students gain confidence and enjoyment in maths
