CMA Recruitment Group are supporting a global manufacturing business to hire an experienced Tableau Developer into their EMEA finance team, based in Basingstoke. This is a key role focused on improving reporting, streamlining processes, and enabling smarter decision making across a complex, international operation.
You’ll take the lead on Tableau development and play a wider role in managing and improving the business’s suite of reporting tools, including Power BI and other business information systems. Sitting within a high-performing finance function, you’ll act as the bridge between finance, operations, and IT – translating complex data into clear, commercial insights.
What will the Tableau Developer role involve?
1. Developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards for financial and operational reporting
2. Supporting data visualisation and reporting using Power BI and other BI tools
3. Working with stakeholders to define reporting needs and improve data accessibility
4. Supporting FP&A and commercial finance with meaningful analysis
5. Helping to optimise the use of business information systems across the region
6. Driving a data-led approach to decision making across finance and the wider business
Suitable Candidate for the Tableau Developer vacancy:
7. 10+ years’ experience in data, reporting or business intelligence roles
8. Strong hands-on Tableau development skills
9. Power BI and general business information systems experience
10. Solid understanding of financial reporting, ideally in a manufacturing environment
11. Excellent stakeholder skills – comfortable working across finance, operations and IT
12. Proactive and practical, with a continuous improvement mindset
