Looking for a challenge or opportunity to develop your career?In this role, you will work across our Solar portfolios and your ability to build and maintain strong relationships with our existing customers. You'll also play a key part in developing new business relationships and expanding the company's footprint in the solar power market. You’ll be based in our Christchurch Regional office and have the ability to travel regularly around the South Island.
What you'll be doing
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the solar energy industry
Building and maintaining strong relationships with potential clients, including commercial and residential customers
Providing expert advice and guidance to customers on the benefits and specifications of solar power solutions
Preparing detailed proposals and presentations to secure new contracts
Collaborating with the technical and installation teams to ensure seamless project delivery
Staying up to date with the latest solar technology and industry trends
Contributing to the development of the company's solar energy strategy and new product offerings
What we're looking for
Proven track record in new business development, ideally in the renewable energy or solar power industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and build long-term relationships
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to discuss complex solar power solutions in a clear, concise manner
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets and business objectives
Passion for renewable energy and a commitment to promoting sustainable solutions
Relevant qualifications or certifications in renewable energy, sales, or a related field
