We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to join an established firm of solicitors in the area, on a permanent basis.
Duties include:
1. Carry out tasks for clients under the guidance of fee earners
2. Ensure work is completed accurately and in a timely manor
3. Adhere to the firm’s quality and compliance standards
4. Prepare and manage court documents and bundles
5. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
6. Act as the first point of contact for new enquiries received by the team
7. Respond to enquiries via phone or through the firm’s website, ensuring a professional and helpful response
8. Manage the production and distribution of non-standard correspondence
9. Create documents prepared by fee earners or outsourced typing services
10. Attach relevant enclosures, and completing all associated filing to letters
11. Maintain client files, including opening, closing, storing, and retrieving files
This role requires a candidate with previous experience in a legal secretarial role, preferably within a Dispute Resolution team. You will need excellent typing abilities, including audio typing, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You must have strong organisational skills, with the ability to work efficiently and manage tasks to meet deadlines.
