About the Role
Are you ready to take the lead? As our Depot Manager, you will proactively manage our depot and inspire your team to uphold the highest standards of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) and operational excellence. Your mission? To optimize the availability and utilization of our rental assets while fostering a positive, high-performing team culture.
Your Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the depot office and administration teams, including hire desk, contracts administration, and logistics.
* Engage with workshop operations and engineer management.
* Ensure meticulous maintenance of all systems and records with high data entry accuracy.
* Support and mentor office and administration teams through regular sessions.
* Uphold all Company Policies and Procedures, ensuring compliance with EHS standards.
* Conduct regular team meetings and participate in weekly depot meetings.
* Champion exceptional customer service and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate closely with the wider depot network, service department, and sales teams.
* Act swiftly to resolve issues, fostering open communication for consistent problem-solving.
* Manage invoice dispute logs and ensure timely query resolution.
* Adhere to all Quality and EHS directives, including PPE, Accident Reporting, and Safety Commitments.

What We’re Looking For
* Hands-on experience in a similar role, preferably within the service or rental industry.
* Proven leadership experience managing teams of 30+ people.
* A strong commitment to HSE and operational excellence.
* Organized, proactive, and focused on process improvement.
* Self-motivated with the ability to inspire and lead effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
* Confidence, approachability, and adaptability to embrace change.
