Business Development Associate – Entry Level Route to Event Management
Location: Bristol (Office-based)
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 base + uncapped commission
OTE Year 1: £45,000 – £55,000
Top Performers: £60,000 – £80,000+
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

You’ll start by learning how to build world-class exhibitions from the ground up through business development. As you grow, you’ll have the chance to move into event management, coordination, or senior sales roles depending on your strengths and interests.
Full training is provided from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be an essential part of the team helping to grow our flagship events, starting with lead generation and relationship building.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Researching and identifying high-potential exhibitors and sponsors
* Reaching out to leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn
* Qualifying prospects and generating interest in our global events
* Booking meetings and handing over leads to the senior sales team
* Supporting wider sales and marketing campaigns
* Gaining exposure to event operations, project planning, and commercial strategy
* Progressing into event management or coordination roles over time
