About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. You will be involved in caring for residents in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Your role will focus on providing personalized care that promotes security, dignity, and independence for our residents.
You will lead a team of Care Assistants, ensuring high standards of care, and will be a positive influence on your team. Your responsibilities include assisting residents with daily activities, supporting end-of-life care, and communicating effectively with families and team members.
You will also be involved in maintaining accurate records, supporting social and recreational activities, and administering medication under supervision. It is essential to have a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or equivalent, experience in person-centered care planning, and knowledge of dementia care. Your positive energy, communication skills, and ability to manage your time effectively are crucial.
