About the Role:
We are currently working with a lovely primary school in Lancaster that is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional needs in the Reception class. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, and will continue for the full academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing one-to-one support to a child with SEN in the EYFS setting
Supporting the class teacher in delivering a rich and engaging EYFS curriculum
Assisting with personal care, where necessary
Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
Tracking and reporting progress to the class teacher and SENCO
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Have previous experience working within an EYFS setting
Have experience supporting children with SEN (e.g., speech and language needs, ASD, developmental delay)
Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable
Be available to start immediately
