We are seeking a Business Architect / Operating Model Consultant to support a short-term transformation programme within a large UK infrastructure organisation.
This role is focused on discovery and operating model design for an internal capability function. You will work closely with stakeholders to assess the current state, identify opportunities, and help shape the future operating model.
Responsibilities
* Conduct operating model canvassing: map current processes, capabilities, structures, and governance
* Capture and record insights from stakeholder interviews and workshops
* Produce clear, structured artefacts such as capability maps, operating model frameworks, and transformation views
* Identify strategic levers to inform future ways of working
* Present findings and recommendations in a concise and structured way to leadership
Requirements
* Experience as a Business Architect, Operating Model Consultant, or in Operational Excellence
* Proven experience in current-state assessment, capability mapping, and target operating model design
* Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills - being able to describe how you do this also.
* Ability to synthesise complex information into clear, structured outputs
* Comfortable working in a short-term, fast-paced transformation programme
