Job Title: Curriculum Manager - Vocational Training
Location: York - Centre based
Salary: up to 40,000 (depending on skills and experience) + fantastic benefits!
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Duties:
1. Design and manage an effective curriculum across multiple vocations (e.g., Construction, Electrical, Catering), ensuring learner and employer needs are met.
2. Work closely with the delivery team, supervising them to maximise student success and the effectiveness of the provision.
3. Lead on quality assurance and improvement, encouraging tutors to raise standards of their delivery.
4. Develop inclusive teaching strategies.
5. Ensure programmes meet awarding body and regulatory requirements.
6. Analyse data on learner progress, retention, and achievement to drive continuous improvement.
Essential Criteria:
1. Must hold a relevant degree and/or professional qualification.
2. Must have strong teaching experience, ideally within vocational education.
3. Hold or be willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification.
4. Experience in designing and developing high-quality curricula and quality improvement strategies.
