The FA is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and flexible Team Manager to oversee the administrative and operational aspects of England Development Team tournaments and camps. This role is to cover maternity leave for up to 1 year. The position involves regular travel within the UK and internationally. Interviews are scheduled for the week beginning 16th June at The National Football Centre, St. George's Park.
What will you be doing?
* Managing all operational and administrative support for an England team, including squad selection, player call-ups, itineraries, staffing, travel, accommodation, facilities, match and training venues, and liaison with clubs and federations.
* Operating events for England Men's Development teams, including match day planning and execution.
* Traveling to matches, training camps, and tournaments; attending draws and site visits; acting as Match Day Manager or Tournament Director as needed.
* Managing budgets and financial reconciliation, including purchase orders and financial planning.
* Developing relationships within FA departments and organizing operational planning meetings.
* Liaising with UEFA, FIFA, and other international bodies.
* Collaborating with department heads on staffing and updating internal portals.
* Maintaining relationships with stakeholders to promote the FA's profile.
* Performing additional tasks as required and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and wellbeing policies, including DBS checks.

Essential:
* Extensive experience in an elite sports environment involving travel with sports teams.
* Flexible working hours.
* Experience in budget management.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Ability to travel regularly within the UK and overseas.
Beneficial:
* Graduate or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of foreign languages.
* Experience in major international tournaments, including Olympics, World Championships, or European Championships, with existing relationships with international federations.
* Event management experience.
* Proven negotiation skills.
* Experience working abroad with teams.
