Job Description
Senior 3rd Line Support engineer required. Our client are a solution based company that focuses on delivering the correct technical solution for the client that integrates into their business and future operations. They provide IT services to over 190 hotels across the UK and well as Wi-Fi, CCTV, Phone systems, networking and many more.
They are now looking for a experienced 3rd Line Engineer based from their Basingstoke office who can perform a mixture of on-site and remote IT.
Position Overview
1. Taking responsibility for providing IT advice to a selection of our clients
2. Travelling out to sites when required
3. Overseeing new customers set ups and service evaluation
4. Log and resolve IT issues
5. Configuration & setup of Active Directory domain controllers with DHCP and DNS
6. Installing and configuring VMWare ESXi
7. Setting up Wi-Fi access points
8. Handling documentation when required
Position Requirements
9. Experience as a 3rd Line Engineer
10. Full UK Driving License
11. Knowledge in Active Directory, DHCP & DNS
12. VMWare knowledge
13. Set up & deployment of Wi-Fi – not essential
14. Office 365 & deployments
15. If you also have previous experience of IT Support to a hotel that would be great! – not essential
Position Remuneration
16. Monday to Friday 9:00am – 18:00pm
17. Salary £34,000 – £42,000 (DOE)
