Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive school team. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day support to the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences. Work with pupils individually or in small groups to reinforce learning and support progress. Assist with the preparation of learning materials, classroom resources, and displays. Support pupils with additional learning needs, ensuring inclusion and access to the curriculum. Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment. Supervise pupils during break times, transitions, and school activities as required. Contribute to assessments by observing and recording pupil progress. Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. Person Specification Essential: Experience working with children, ideally within a primary school setting. A patient, caring, and proactive approach. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. A genuine passion for supporting children’s education and wellbeing.
