Who You Are You are someone with significant experience in working with children, young people, and families, ideally with experience of delivering family support and parenting skills. You can develop positive relationships and partner with multiple agencies to achieve outcomes. You have the ability to understand and engage with young people who may have social and emotional difficulties, and work effectively within challenging environments. What the Job Involves As a Family Support Worker, you will support families with children and young people aged 0-18, particularly those with a Child In Need Plan. Your responsibilities include working with families on the edge of local authority care, providing direct work and parenting support, and collaborating with other agencies. You'll be required to undertake needs assessments, plan and review support, and maintain written records. Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, may be necessary to meet the needs of families.
