The University of Leicester Estates Project Delivery team is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a diverse portfolio of capital and revenue projects across our estate. You will manage schemes from inception to completion in line with the RIBA Plan of Work, including Long Term Maintenance with a heavy mechanical and electrical bias, minor works, and carbon and energy improvement projects valued typically between £250k and £5m. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external consultants, you will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and programmes, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to agreed quality standards. You will be professionally qualified in a built environment discipline, with experience of managing multiple construction projects and be an effective communicator and leader. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering impactful construction projects to continuously improve the environment for the University’s staff and students. About you Highly organised and commercially aware, you will be confident managing budgets, programmes, risk and governance while maintaining high standards of quality, health and safety and compliance. An effective communicator, you will be comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, able to lead, influence and motivate project teams to deliver successful outcomes in a complex organisational environment.
