About The Role
We are looking for a Procurement & Sustainability Analyst to join our fast-growing business on a 12-month FTC maternity cover. We are a purpose-driven organisation with ambitious non-financial goals related to our people, planet, and communities. The ideal candidate will help us achieve these commitments by focusing on environmental impact and sustainability.
The successful candidate will be comfortable gathering, organising, analysing, and visualising data. Whether you are just starting your career or seeking a change, this role offers a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful sustainability initiatives.
Responsibilities
Procurement
* Collaborate with our commercial and procurement teams to align supply chain practices with environmental targets.
* Provide MI and reporting on procurement processes to improve efficiency and drive continuous improvement.
* Contribute narratives to bid questions related to sustainability.
* Support supplier assurance questionnaires.
* Manage modern slavery disclosures, statements, and policies, including risk mitigation within our supply chain.
Sustainability
* Calculate the business's carbon footprint quarterly.
* Present data and insights to support the organisation in achieving its net zero targets.
* Manage the company's carbon removal strategies.
* Oversee the Environment Management System to ensure ISO14001 compliance.
* Develop and promote sustainable policies and benefits for employees.
* Attain relevant sustainability and supply chain accreditations and awards.
* Stay updated on low-carbon and zero-carbon technologies and practices.
* Support broader ESG initiatives across the organisation.
* Complete environmental disclosures such as CDP.
About You
Professional Knowledge & Experience
* Understanding of carbon reporting and reduction strategies.
* Strong IT skills, especially in spreadsheets and data analysis.
* Proactive, pragmatic problem-solving approach.
* Ability to manage projects independently.
* Curious, self-starting, and enthusiastic attitude.
* Creative thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.
