Role Description Operates, cleans, works to hygiene standards, and carries out basic maintenance of manufacturing, or packing equipment (e.g., Steriliser, seamer, filler, or packer) for the manufacture, processing or packing of food in cans/pouches. To work to agreed performance standards, OEE, Process safety, food hygiene, quality, good manufacturing practices and with due regard for the health and safety of themselves and others around them. Role Requirements Experience within a food-processing environment and understanding of hygiene standards would be desirable but not essential. Competent numeracy/literacy skills Accountabilities/Competencies to be demonstrated in line with site competency matrix (see associated document). Positive and proactive response is required to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene standards, GMP standards, training, and supervision. Uses and adheres to Company processes / systems. Ability to perform repetitive tasks to specified standards. Ability to adapt according to business pressures/needs i.e., plan changes. Flexibility to be moved/trained across the site and to utilise skills in other departments. Ensure operation of equipment and work practices as trained when required. Effective cleaning of lines and equipment to required standards. Receptive to/participate in being trained for other lines/processes.
