We are recruiting a SEMH Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist provision supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
1. Support pupils with challenging behaviour and emotional needs
2. Establish consistent routines and clear expectations
3. Use de-escalation and positive behaviour strategies
4. Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
5. Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral staff
Skills & Experience
6. Experience in SEMH, SEND, youth work or care is desirable
7. Calm, consistent and resilient approach
8. Strong behaviour management skills
9. Commitment to supporting vulnerable pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
