Our modern, purpose-built 68-bed care home in Southport delivers residential, nursing, dementia and respite care within a warm, supportive and person-centred environment. As we continue our improvement journey and prepare for our next CQC inspection, we are seeking a focused, organised and motivating Clinical Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager and strengthen our nursing team.
This role is ideal for a task-oriented clinical leader someone who brings structure, clarity and follow-through, and who enjoys developing others, closing knowledge gaps, and embedding best practice into everyday care.
As Clinical Deputy Manager, you will be a visible presence within the home, working closely with nurses, carers and senior staff to ensure care delivery is safe, compliant and consistently high-quality.
Supporting nurses through coaching, guidance and knowledge-sharing.
Promoting accountability, structure and consistency across shifts.
Supporting inspection readiness and ongoing improvement.

You’ll be a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with a strong clinical foundation and a practical, structured leadership style. Experience working in a care home or elderly care setting.
The ability to motivate, guide and upskill nursing teams.
